FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
IS THERE A LEAD TIME FOR PRODUCTION?
If a product is available to purchase, it means it's in stock and ready to ship. Please allow 2-4 business days for order processing after your order is complete
All accessory bags are made by hand and it's my goal to not make you wait long times to get your gear. If an item is sold out, it means I am working on a new batch and should be available for purchase soon.
HOW LONG WILL SHIPPING TAKE?
DOMESTIC SHIPPING (USA):
Shipping within the United States depends on the selected service at checkout. In most cases 3-7 days is typical.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
International shipping is offered on all products. Please allow for 2-3 weeks for delivery. International customers are responsible for VAT taxes and duties fees paid at time of delivery.
ARE YOUR BAGS WATERPROOF OR CAN THEY BE SEAM SEALED?
In most cases, bags are water resistant, but are not water proof and should not be submerged under water.
I do not seam tape or seam seal my bags as I use a variety of fabrics that may or may not be able to seal. Also, given that most of our bags utilize a zipper, properly seam taping or sealing is difficult to achieve. If having your bag sealed is important to you, please reach out so I can suggest the best application for the fabric you've chosen for your gear.
*I do not accept custom requests for seam sealing
Bags that feature a water tight (Aquaguard) zipper are more water resistant than standard coil zipper, but again are not 100% waterproof.
DO YOU ACCEPT CUSTOM GEAR REQUESTS?
I do not accept custom gear requests. All items are sold as described and cannot be changed.
DO YOU USE RECYCLED FABRICS AND ARE THEY PFAS FREE?
Yes, all fabrics used are either 100% recycled or contain recycled components and are 100% free of PFAS chemical treatments
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES IN FABRICS YOU OFFER ON YOUR BAGS?
All of the fabrics used on our bags are sourced from Challenge Sailcloth and Dimension Polyant, who are makers of technical outdoor fabrics with a focus on sustainability as well.
X-Pac RX15 & RX30:
These two fabrics feature a 100% recycled polyester face fabric with RX15 being a 150 denier face and RX30 a 300 denier face. This fabric gives a really nice soft feel and look. They are 3 layer laminated fabrics with a 22º X-PLY between the layers for added strength. A PFAS free DWR treatment is added to the face fabric for added water repellency. Can be seam taped with an adhesive tape.
Ultra TX70:
A lightweight focused recycled laminated fabric with a 70 denier polyester face, and a 45º Ultra fiber grid and a PET film. This is the lightest weight fabric offered on our bags for those who want maximum weight savings.
UltraGrid:
A 210 denier, 100% recycled nylon fabric from post consumer industrial waste. UltraGrid is a woven nylon, single layer fabric that weaves recycled nylon with a double ultra fiber ripstop that makes it incredibly strong and tear resistant. Matched with a PFAS free C0 DWR treatment and a PU coating inside for 1500mm of waterproof rating.
